Teatro Visión 2025 General Auditions
Teatro Visión is holding general auditions for its 2025-26 season. Auditions are by appointment on Zoom Saturday, July 26, 2025 between 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
We are seeking:
- Non-Equity actors
- All genders
- Ages 18+
- Bilingual, Spanish and English.
Please prepare two 2-minute monologues (1 in Spanish, 1 in English) and one song to sing a capella.
Compensation is $18.00 per hour for rehearsals you are called to and all performance dates. All rehearsals and performances are in San José.
Call back auditions are by invitation only on August 2, 2025. Please hold some availability on this date.

Annual dia de los muertos production
LA MUERTE BAILA
by Rebecca Martinez and the Milagro Ensemble.
In this hilarious, musical take on the afterlife, los muertitos (the dead) can’t wait to get back to earth on Día de Muertos and La Muerte can’t wait to finally have a day to relax! But when one soul isn’t ready to go back, everyone’s holiday is in danger!
The play is performed in Spanish.

NO LLEGAMOS AQUÍ SOLOS
by Yosimar Reyes
This new play by Santa Clara County Poet Laureate Yosimar Reyes explores the struggles of thriving immigrant communities in Silicon Valley across generations. Told through poetry and protest, “No llegamos aquí solos” is a story of resilience, resistance, and the power of our community to build a better world.
This is a bilingual play Spanish/English
Performances: February 12-22, 2026
