A hilarious, musical journey through the afterlife!
A recently departed soul named Alejandro has just arrived in Mictlán, the land of the dead, on the eve of el Día de los Muertos. But la Muerte notices that something is different about this soul’s arrival—he can’t remember anything about his past.
Meanwhile, los muertitos—the dead—can’t wait to get back to the land of the living to visit their loved ones. But the portal to the other land is blocked, and they discover that one of them is holding them back!
To cross in time for the holiday, los muertitos have to help Alejandro resolve his unfinished business, and they need your help! Otherwise, they might be stuck until next year…
Full of laughter and song, La Muerte Baila is a heartwarming story about forgiveness, about remembrance, and about choosing how we live our lives.
La Muerte Baila is presented in Spanish with supertitles in English and Spanish.

ACCESSIBILITY
La Muerte Baila is performed in Spanish with open captions in English and Spanish.
ASL interpretation will be provided at the Sun., October 19 performance of La Muerte Baila.
ADA seating is available at the theater, in the main level of the audience chamber and on the balcony. There are elevators to the balcony on the right side of the theater lobby. There are no steps leading into the theater from the Plaza, which is accessible via ramps from the parking lots on both King Rd. and Alum Rock Ave.

¡Un divertido recorrido musical a través del Mictlán!
Un nuevo muertito llamado Alejandro acaba de llegar al Mictán en la víspera del Día de los Muertos. Pero la Muerte se da cuenta que algo parece diferente de la llegada de este nuevo muertito—no puede recordar nada de su pasado.
Entre tanto, los muertitos no pueden esperar regresar al mundo de los vivos para visitar a sus seres queridos. Pero la puerta al otro lado está cerrada ¡y descubren que uno de ellos los está frenando!
Para cruzar al otro lado a tiempo para las fiestas, los muertitos tienen que ayudar a Alejandro a resolver sus asuntos pendientes ¡y necesitan tu ayuda! De lo contrario, podrían quedarse estancados hasta el próximo año…
Llena de risas y canciones, La Muerte Baila es una conmovedora historia sobre el perdón, el recuerdo y la elección de cómo vivimos nuestras vidas.
