Our classes identify and train new "teatristas" — skilled artists who are committed to culture-based, bilingual theater. This innovative training program inspires students of all ages to find their voice, building the self-confidence and initiative to take on leadership roles in their community. There are also opportunities for students to audition for roles in Teatro Visión stage productions.

Teatro Visión is launching a Youth Technical Theater program for youth ages 13-18, beginning with Youth Technical Theater classes in June 2026.
Youth Technical Theater introduces young people to the magic of working as a theater designer and technician, through activities rooted in Latinx cultural traditions and Chicanx theater forms. By connecting the imagination with practical skills in makeup, costumes, props, and scenery, students will gain hands-on experience in the behind-the-scenes work that brings the magic of live theatre to the stage. Classes will be bilingual, English and Spanish.

Youth Technical Theater opens doors for students who are curious about creative careers. Participants in the class program will be eligible to apply for apprenticeships with professional designers as part of our upcoming productions.

Teatro Vision lanza un programa de teatro técnico para jóvenes de 13-18 años, empezando con una serie de clases de teatro técnico en junio del 2026.
Teatro técnico juvenil introduce a los jóvenes a la magia de ser diseñadores y técnicos de teatro, a través de actividades enraizadas en tradiciones Latinas y formas de teatro Chicanas. Conectando la imaginación con métodos prácticos de maquillaje, disfraces, props y escenario, los participantes obtendrán experiencia en el trabajo que trae la magia del teatro en vivo al escenario. Las clases serán bilingües, en inglés y español.

Teatro Técnico Juvenil abre las puertas a estudiantes interesados en carreras creativas. Los participantes del programa podrán applicar para un programa de aprendizaje con diseñadores profesionales como parte de nuestras producciones.
