Just before opening night of MACARIO, Teatro Visión was excited to welcome Herminia Ojeda as the newest member of our Board of Directors. Herminia has lived in San José for 12 years after moving here from Los Angeles to complete her industrial engineering degree at San José State. She currently works as a financial advisor for Amerprise Financial Services, where one of her top priorities is to assist and provide financial literacy to underrepresented communities.
Herminia also volunteers her time with the Junior League of San José and the Latina Coalition of Silicon Valley, and she has previously worked as a project engineer at the former NUMMI plant in Fremont. She is excited by the prospect of helping Teatro Visión transform the hearts and minds of our community through powerful theater and arts education programs.
In addition to her regular board duties, Herminia will be assisting us with financial management and marketing. Please welcome her to the Teatro família!
