Get your tickets for MACARIO 2014!

This October, Teatro Visión is proud to present the second annual production of our adaptation of the classic Mexican novel and film MACARIO – a spectacle of live theater, music, and dance that is sure to become a Día de los Muertos tradition in our community for years to come.

Tickets for this exciting production are on sale now!

A poor woodcutter, whose sole dream in life is to experience one day without hunger, is caught at a crossroads when his dream comes true. But his soul is tested when some unexpected visitors show up. Written by the mysterious B. Traven, MACARIO was made into a film in the 1960s, winning international awards at Edinburgh and Cannes, and an Oscar nomination for Best Foreign Film.

Teatro Visión's MACARIO will be performed in Spanish with English supertitles. This year's production features new musical elements and an expanded cast, including students from our teatro classes! Click here to learn more about the production.

We invite you to experience MACARIO at the School of Arts & Culture at Mexican Heritage Plaza from October 9-19, 2014. Tickets can be purchased online through Brown Paper Tickets.
