Inspired by real stories gathered from our community here in the Bay Area, Departera is a witty, modern take on Día de Muertos. Inspiring music, touching stories, and diverse characters make this a production you won’t want to miss.
Departera is performed in English and Spanish, with English and Spanish captions.
Our 9th annual Día de Muertos production, Departera, will take place in October, 2021. We hope to offer limited seating for live audiences under careful COVID safety protocols, but due to evolving health conditions in Santa Clara County, we are not yet selling tickets.
Whether or not there are live public performances, Departera will be available on demand online.
