On May 5, 2015, thousands of your friends and neighbors will show their support for their favorite nonprofit during Silicon Valley Gives. On that day, every donation and donor Teatro receives will help us compete for a share of thousands of dollars in prize money.

This is going to be a huge event, and everyone will be talking about who they’re supporting on social media and around the proverbial "water cooler" at work. Think of it like American Idol or The Voice. We need your support to make it to the top!

We were honored to receive more than $1,300 in support during the inaugural SV Gives in 2014, and we want to double that this year.

Here are 3 quick things you can do to help...

1. Mark May 5th on your calendar and bookmark this link to Teatro's SV Gives page. (You can also schedule your donation in advance!)

2. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter, and help build the buzz using the hashtags #MiTeatro and #SVGives!

3. Forward this email to your family and friends along with a personal note about why you believe in our work, and why they should give on May 5th.
