CES_6943.JPEGTeatro Visión is partnering with Mexico City street theater ensemble La Quinta Teatro to create a brand new work of theater about migration as a boundless journey. We’re calling this new work Raíces: el libro de los caminos (Roots: The Book of Journeys).

Get to know La Quinta Teatro at an exclusive FREE performance of their unique, high-energy street theater.
 
After the performance, meet the artists and express your own creativity through participatory activities like mask making, puppet making, painting, and interactive activities involving music and sound. These activities are part of the Creative License Ambassador program of the City of San José Office of Cultural Affairs. #408creates

Raíces: el libro de los caminos is being created with funding from a Hewlett Foundation 50 Arts Commission; The Map Fund, supported by the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation and the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation; the National Institute of Fine Arts and Literature of Mexico; the Neda Nobari Foundation; and a grant from the City of San José.
